Kneet is a Thai Sikh–Punjabi artist born and raised in Thailand, now based in New York City. As a fifth-generation Thai Sikh, she carries a unique blend of cultural identity — the warmth and spirituality of Sikh heritage, the color and openness of Thai upbringing, and the grit and ambition of New York. Her music lives where emotional pop, storytelling, and global influences meet.

For years, she survived coercive control, abuse, and isolation while fighting through a complex family court system as a mother trying to protect her son. When her voice was dismissed in court and in her relationship, music became the one place she could speak freely. Every lyric became a way to stay alive inside.
Now, she is no longer hiding.
Her debut single Rise — distributed through EMPIRE — is the sound of a woman stepping back into her power. It captures the moment she chooses herself, her truth, and her son’s future over fear. Her songs are for survivors, for women who have been underestimated, and for anyone who has ever had to rebuild from nothing.

With more music on the way, Kneet is building a world where Thai Sikh–Punjabi roots, New York energy, and a mother’s unshakeable love come together. This is only the beginning of her rise.
